Project Coordinator – India/Panama
The position of the Project Coordinator is a key role which requires considerable knowledge and expertise. It involves direct interfacing with clients and architects on a frequent basis. This will call for a person who is dedicated as well as skillful in Hindi(Punjab) India and English languages, both written and oral, at all levels of management. One of the key functions of the Project Coordinator is to ensure that the delivery of the service is completed with the utmost professionalism and that relationships are maintained. The position carries with it a mandate to act on behalf of the company pertaining to projects in India/Panama and coordinating with its affiliates in the Southeast Asian/Latin America region. It will be an added value to have vast knowledge about the local players in the facade industry such as facade contractors and material suppliers. Interest in doing sales and marketing coordination would be an advantage.
Facade Engineer | Chef de Project
We are seeking a Facade Engineer to join our expanding team in India/Panama. Experience in the design of façade systems from the APS to the ACT phase is required. Candidates should have over 5 years’ experience in façade design and detailing, and obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
An excellent understanding of the English language is required.
Structural and Facade Engineers
Our growing team in New York are looking for Engineers at all levels who share our passion for creative design and problem solving.
A strong interest in architecture, structural and facade engineering, and building physics is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, Strand7, MEPLA, REVIT, & Rhino is preferred. Candidates should have obtained a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, and are preferably based in the US.
Facade QC/QA Inspectors (5 Full-Time & 5 Project Based)
Qualifications:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent

At least 5 - 10 years of working experience in Architecture/Building/Construction Industry

Preferably with previous experience with façade/architectural works – structural steel, curtain wall, sky light, metal works, inspection, calculation, quality control, etc.

Can perform effectively amidst pressure and under minimal supervision

Job Description:

Use survey instruments, metering devices, tape measures, and test equipment to perform inspections

Maintain daily logs and supplement inspection records with photographs

Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations

Inspect and monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and specifications

Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures and fixtures to ensure compliance to building plans and codes

Inspect facilities or installations to determine their environmental impact

Monitor installation of window cladding to ensure that installation is performed properly and is in compliance with applicable regulations

Summit Facade seeks a Design Manager
Job duties include: Prepare technical drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial structures using computer-aided design software. Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs and plan project layouts in accordance with building codes and standards. Meet with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of structures and perform material research to support client's vision of projects. Conduct on-site inspections of construction work. Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent and two years of relevant experience. Must have at least two years of professional experience working in all engineering aspects of façade design, from concept design through construction administration. Must have at least two years of experience producing technical sketches for all project phases and carrying out structural analyses for glass, aluminum, steel, and GFRC elements as well as thermal and condensation analyses of building envelope systems. Must have at least two years of experience reviewing cost estimates and preparing technical reports and specifications. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCad, LBNL Optics, Mathcad, Sketchup, and Strand 7.
